What are my Pokémon cards worth?
That depends on the card, the set, the condition and whether it's a normal or a reverse holo. Look your card up in Cardtracker and you'll see the current market price, with the date it's from. Add it to your collection and we track it from that moment on.
Where do the prices come from?
From a market data supplier that updates daily, based on what cards actually sell for. Every amount says when it is from. It's an indication and not a valuation: what you finally get depends on where and to whom you sell.
Are Japanese cards included?
Yes, 22.034 of them. You search everything by default and can switch Japanese off with one button if you only collect English cards.
Is there a difference between a normal card and a reverse holo?
In price often yes, sometimes double. When adding a card you choose which variant you have, and we use the matching price. Holo, 1st edition and unlimited can be tracked separately too.
Can I track sealed products?
Yes. Booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins, blisters and bundles: 2.616 products are in the catalogue, with image and price. You browse by set and click what you own.
Can I import my collection?
Yes, with a CSV file. If your collection is in a spreadsheet or another app, you don't have to type it all in again.
Does the app recognise my cards through the camera?
Yes, with Pro. Hold the card in front of the camera and Cardtracker looks it up by its artwork. You don't have to line anything up and there's no button: it sees where the card is by itself, even at an angle. If it's certain, the card is added straight away. If it hesitates, you get a few candidates and choose yourself, because cards that look alike are hard to tell apart for a computer too. The photo stays on your device: only a fingerprint of 32 characters comes to us, never an image.
What does it cost?
Starting is free, without a credit card and without a trial that quietly turns into a subscription. If you want to track more than a handful of cards, there are paid plans. You can cancel any time, effective immediately.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Cardtracker runs in the browser and you can add it to your home screen, so it behaves like an app. Handy at a fair or in a shop, when you want to check quickly whether you already have a card.
What happens to my data if I stop?
It stays yours. You can download your whole collection as CSV or JSON at any time. If you stop a paid plan, your collection simply stays for when you come back. We don't sell anything on and there's no tracker on this site.
Can I see which cards I'm still missing from a set?
Yes. Browse a set and you'll see for each card whether it's already in your collection. Handy when you want to complete a set and don't want to buy the same common twice.
Will I be notified when a card drops in price?
If you set a target price for a card on your wishlist, we send you one email as soon as it drops below it. One message a day with everything in it, not one per card.
